OUR SERVICES

For those who are disabled, elderly, or recovering, Pop-in Care is pleased to offer help with the following activities and tasks:

  • Bathing

  • Personal hygiene and grooming

  • Toileting and incontinence care

  • Oral and dental care

  • Assist with prescribed exercises

  • Medication reminders

  • Hydration reminders

  • Managing appointments

  • Wellness checks

  • Preparation and serving meals

  • Light housekeeping

  • Transportation and errands

  • Making phone calls and correspondence

  • Tech assistance

 

  • Short-term relief for primary caregivers (Respite Care)

  • Companionship for daily activities

CAREGIVER TRAINING

All Pop-in Care caregivers are required to hold certain skills, and adhere to the care guidelines provided by Pop-in Care.

All Pop-in Care caregivers are:

  • Registered Home Care Aides (HCA)

  • CPR Certified

  • Screened and cleared through the California Department of Social Services (CDSS)

  • Required to undergo in-field training and mandatory annual training

  • In addition, our caregivers also receive ongoing Pop-in Care specific training (including wheelchair and hoyer lift training) to ensure they are providing the best possible care.

Our training program is specially designed to train our caregivers to deliver care as efficiently and effectively as possible, and to focus on the client’s specific needs.
